| Description | This sculpture, ‘Gestation’, is made from limewood and measures 67x53x47cm. The characteristics of this particular sculpture uphold the philosophy of Lamba’s ‘Pods’ series which include the elements of fertility and growth. This smooth, oval sculpture shows a foetus in an egg – literally a human seed in a pod. The sculpture has a delicate form and presence attributable to the growing foetus. |
