Description | This black and white illustration was created for use in Suniti Namjoshi’s satiric fable, ‘The Conversations of Cow’ (The Women’s Press, London, 1985). Drawn by American feminist writer and visual artist Mary Meigs (1917-2002), the drawing was not used in the final publication of the book. It depicts the character Suniti standing behind a man who is wearing a T-shirt with the slogan “Lesbian Cow Power” and shouting expletives at a woman in a car. |
