This sculpture from Lamba’s ‘Pods’series, is made from oak wood and measures 30 x 33 x 48 cm. The lines of the sculpture, true to Lamba’s style, have been hollowed out of the orignal shape of the wood. A raw edge of the original piece of wood has been left untouched. The bottom of the open vessel contains a seed or pod and an external projection which curls under itself; similar to the end of a violin.
