This A5 landscape colour photograph was taken by Ali Zaidi at Akademi’s production, ‘Coming of Age’. The event took place on the walkways of the Royal Festival Hall in London in August 2000. Over seventy dancers performed Indian classical, fusion contemporary and folk dancing to packed audiences. ‘Coming of Age’ was produced to mark Akademi’s 21st birthday.
