Description | This four-page programme entitled ‘Kal Ke Sitare’ or “Tomorrow’s Stars” was for the annual showcase presented by the students of the Academy of Indian dance. The programme was held on 23 November 1991 at the Commonwealth Institute, London. Various forms of classical Indian dance were performed including Bharta Natyam, Kathak, Odissi and Folk as well as creative dancing. The performances were accompanied by live musicians including the renowned sitar player, Baluji Shrivastav and Yousef Ali Khan on the tabla. |
