Description | This is an A4 black and white photocopy of an advertisement for Ram Gopal’s school of dance, which was placed in the Dancing Times, in July-August 1963. By this time, Gopal had changed the name of his dancing school to ‘The Ram Gopal British Commonwealth School of Dance, Drama and Music’. Based in London, Ram Gopal had also recruited renowned dancer, performer and later television actress, Zohra Segal to act as Principle of the school. Ram Gopal placed a number of advertisements for the establishment of classical dance schools; however none of these ever came to fruition. |
