In 1967, Suniti Namjoshi published her first book of poems through P. Lal of the Writers Workshop in Calcutta. The book comprises twenty-four poems. Eight colour pages from this hard back book have been digitised which includes background information on the Writers Workshop, Calcutta, which gave so many Indian poets writing in English their first chance of publication.
