Description | On 25 January 1991, Baluji Shrivastav presented his production of ‘Portraits of the Dark’ at the Central Library, Treaty Centre in Hounslow, West London. This A5 flyer provides details of the evening performance, which was sponsored by Hounslow Leisure Services. The performance was the final one in Baluji’s London tour of ‘Portraits of the Dark’ in which he portrayed his life as a blind musician. Baluji preformed with six other musicians, having composed the score for seven Indian and western instruments, fusing classical Indian music with Arabic and jazz influences. |
