This play was a celebration of British -South Asian literature since the creation of Pakistan and India’s independence. The music for this production was composed and performed live by Baluji Shrivastav and toured to Birmingham’s multicultural arts venue, The Drum, on 15 May 1998.

Series notesSince his first position in 1983 as Musical Director for Tara Arts' production Pushpanjali, Baluji has remained committed to composing scores for theatre, drama and dance productions. He has worked with Tamasha Theatre, Mán Melá Theatre and several other institutions in composing, directing and performing scores for national performances of plays, recitals and readings. Baluji's experience in accompanying the world's leading exponents of classical Indian dance on stage, has led him to tours in North America, Europe and Africa.
