Series notes | A professional musician, teacher, composer and producer, TJ Rehmi has his roots not only in classical Indian music, but also in jazz-funk and western classical music. He signed to Nation Records with 'Is it Legal?' which appeared on Nation's 'Fuse 3: Global Chaos' compilation in 1996. TJ Rehmi has designed his own fusion creations incorporating jazz and blues melodies with classical Indian music. In 1998, his debut album on Nation Records, 'Mind Filter', was released and portrayed TJ Rehmi's unique style of fusion music. Mera Therapy was a mellow compilation released in 1999 followed by 'Raag Digitaal', in 2000. TJ Rehmi signed to Higher Octave Records in the USA, in 2001. |
