| Description | In April 1998, Mán Melá and the Lewisham Asian Elders and Carers Group presented ‘Jeevan Yatra’ (Life’s Journey). This A4 poster advertises the performance, which was based on reminiscing tales in celebration of the 50th anniversary of independence in India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The piece was devised and performed by Asian senior citizens and directed by Mán Melá ‘s artistic director, Dominic Rai. The play included live music by renowned sitar player Baluji Shrivastav. |
