This black and white image features Mán Melá actors Kiran D’Costa and Sarjit Sil in their costumes for ‘Romeo and Ram’. The show was produced and directed by Dominic Rai in 1994, and told a story about love and friendship between two men. The image shows the actors wearing face masks to represent the famous characters Romeo, from Shakespeare, and Ram, from the Hindu scriptures.
