Description	This red and white leaflet provides details on Mán Melá ‘s 1999 ‘Spring into Action’ community participation festival held at The Albany, Lewisham Studio Theatre and Ackroyd Community Centre. Then festival took place between 20 March and 17 July 1999, and coincided with the Sikh spring folk festival of ‘Vaisakhi’. The events included comedy shows, writing workshops in English and Punjabi, ‘Grandpa’s Djinn’, a play by Mán Melá performed with live music in Punjabi, English and Bengali, a poetry ‘mehfil’, food tasting and bhangra nights.
