Series notes | The Cornershop comprised three new plays written by Yasmin Khan, Ravi Mangat and Ashok Patel, exploring British Asian family life. The production was originally commissioned by The Hawth, Crawley, as part of a 3-year programme supported by the Arts Council of England, to encourage new British Asian theatre and to develop audiences for it. The Cornershop previewed in Spring 2000. This digital material in this file features a photograph from each writer’s production and a flyer. |
