This is an A5 colour image of Kristine Landon-Smith, co-founder of Tamasha Theatre Company. Landon-Smith has directed all of Tamasha’s productions and has also been a producer for BBC Radio since 1996. She has produced many plays, series, serials and short stories. Kristine Landon-Smith was born in England to an Indian mother and an Australian father. She was brought up in Australia and returned to England in 1978 where she studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Landon-Smith has acted and directed for theatre companies all over Britain and has co-written most of Tamasha’s independent productions.

Series notesThe Tamasha Theatre Company was jointly founded in 1989 by Sudha Buchar and Kristine Landon-Smith. Sudha Buchar was born and brought up in East Africa and has lived in England for over 20 years. She has acted in plays, television serials and radio and has written for BBC radio as well as co-written most of Tamasha's productions. Kristine Landon-Smith was born in England to an Indian mother and an Australian father. She was brought up in Australia and returned to England in 1978 where she studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
